This KAC Aimpoint Micro NVG Mount is constructed of lightweight aluminum and is compatible with any Picatinny type top rail.

The Aimpoint Micro NVG High Rise Mount works by lifting the optic up higher, so you can clear lights, lasers and any other items that can obstruct your sight picture.

With a height of 2.33” from the top of your 1913 picatinny rail to the center point of your optic, you now have the ability to see your irons through the mount.

There is an integrated a section of 1913 rail, so you can run Aimpoint or Eotech magnifiers on this mount.

While originally designed for the Aimpoint Micro Red Dot Sight it will fit most other Red Dot Sights with a picatinny rail type mount.

This Knight's Armament Aimpoint Micro NVG High Rise Mount is a unique optic mount to integrate with night vision equipment and helmets for Special Operations groups who do most of their work under the cover of darkness.

This KAC mount is also nicknamed the Redback One/Sky Scraper mount. It is designed to integrate with NVG helmet mounts and allow shooters to keep more of a "Head's Up" position over their rifles.

For shooting on the move, maintaining a "head's up" posture decreases muscular tension in the neck, upper back, and shoulders. This also frees up your line of sight, so even if you aren't using NVGs or helmets this mount may help your performance in the shooting sports or tactical training. For the slight trade-off in weight or QD capability, this mount is optimized for short to mid range shooting where gains in speed prioritizing stability and all allowable points of contact.
